Travel meditation cushion

Ever been stuck in a hotel room in a new city, with your mindfulness disturbed? I feel that way all the time. I have to travel for my work. Sometimes it's fun, but lots of times it just doesn't contribute to a peaceful mind.
How to sit? Hotel pillows don't do the job. Here's a product I've been using when I'm on the road. http://www.stillsitting.com/sitting-on/travel-zafu-new.html
Not as good as your real cushion, but better than nothing.

Hi Alan,

I've always preferred a towel folded up a couple of times.

Hello alan,

I just use the neck cushion I take along on the plane ride. When it is used in a tight circle, it does the job as a meditation cushion as well.

I find rolling up a thick jacket or jumper usually does the trick.

Hi Alan
Excellent thread.
I use an afghan prayer rug as my floor mat and a very thin futon-style chair cushion folded over.
I also use a dark-brown/grey blanket as a meditation shawl.
Anyway, I thought you, or someone else, may appreciate knowing about the following inflatable travel cushions at Pariyatti.
I actually got to use one courtesy of one of my American friends at Shwedagon Peyah.

If and when I go travelling again - I'll probably invest in a couple of inflatable cushions.
kind regards,

Ben
