I would like to make a pamphlet in order to distribute it perhaps in our University, but I would like to know what you'd think is an essential component of a Buddhist Pamphlet?

I have come up with:

The Four Noble Truths
The Three Marks of Existence
The Precepts
Parami

What do you also find important to put in a pamphlet?

What are you trying to achieve?

Help people understand the Dhamma, it's a project I've been working on.

So it is for a Buddhist Student group, then?

In that case I would probably reprint one of the many excellent introductions by famous teachers.

It can be useful to write one yourself but I guess there are many in existence which are excellent written by people with a lot of experience and some considerable insight. Browse and see which you find most appropriate for young people.

The more generic your audience, the more I agree with Dan's fine suggestion above...

Google on the "Buddhist Publication Society". They have made mountains of free and cheap pamphlets on Theravada Buddhism, many of which may be downloaded freely from their website.

Reading what they have may be a good source of inspiration for what you want to write/rewrite in order to reach your target audience.

If we are talking about college students you might be better off putting up a web site or making a youtube channel about why you think Buddhism is cool.
