Sayadaw U Tejaniya's retreat at IMS: audio interviews

Post by dhamma follower »

Dear all,

The name of Burmese meditation teacher U Tejaniya has been mentioned on this forum a number of times. Bellow is the site to his audio interviews during the retreat he has conducted at IMS recently. The interviews, usually in groups, with Sayadaw are in general very informative and opened. U Tejaniya always tries to do his best to point out the wrong views, wrong attitude, and wrong understandings of yogis, sharing his own experiences to illustrate the way of practice in a very down-to-earth manor.

Sayadaw U Tejaniya is an excellent teacher.
I was fortunate enough to recently meet one of his students who was very knowledgeble in his teachings and methods. This helped me immensly in my own practice.
He also very kindly supplied me with the 3 books the Sayadaw has authored: Dhamma Everywhere, Don't look Down on the Defilments, and Awareness Alone is Not Enough.
I have found his approach quite similar to the Thai Forrest Tradition; very open and accepting.
I would suggest to anyone to read these books. Most of them are written in a QandA format to Yogis at his centre, however they for the most part are very practical and useful. They can be found to read on his website - http://sayadawutejaniya.org/teachings/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
