Can buddhists use brainwave entrainment to meditate?

Can buddhists use brainwave entrainment to meditate?

Do we get the same result if we go into meditative state using brainwave entrainment rather than breath meditation?

Presumably, by "brainwave entrainment" you are referring to some kind of biofeedback method.

I think you will get much better results without being wired up to some machine. Find a good teacher, and meditate with a group of experienced meditators to get some support while you're learning — later, you will have the skills that you need to meditate alone.
