I cant seem to find a comfortable position to meditate in, Burmese style hurts my knee, quarter- lotus hurts my hips, I cant do any other lotus's.
I tried using a chair but I can keep my back strait and off the back of the chair. I tried putting my zafu on the chair to tilt my pelvis forward and keep my hips above my knees, but then it hurt my butt so much I couldn't sit the full 30 minutes.
I haven't tried seiza, but seiza benches seem kind of expensive.
I get very worried about using the right posture because I don't want to damage any of my joints. Also I've noticed posture can affect how well I'm able to concentrate
Any advice will help,
