moment to moment meditation

moment to moment meditation

as moment to moment, awareness
as i have test this myself
say one word,a thought for example,one time
then think one (speech/verbal} thought(same word) thought
then breath in and out, one time
after you breath in and out,you stop breathing for one moment
i have not got further then this

I understand your post but I don't understand why you are trying to do it.

Why not just focus on your breath. You will be in the moment if you do it. As soon as you realise that your mind wanders you just come back to the breath.

You mention having a thought but meditation is supposed to not encourage any thoughts. Thoughts will come by themselves of course. You can't stop them that easily. But you can be aware of them. In the mindfulness book i've got, the author writes that what one should do when one realises that their mind has wandered is to note how long your mind has wandered before you realised, the strength of the thoughts, and some other factor i can't remember. The idea is not to totally ignore your thoughts that arise but to notice them and then let them go after you've understood something about them.
