I am part of a team that spent the last summer in two different Buddhist nunneries in Nepal, filming the everyday lives of nuns. Living with the nuns meant that we could go beyond just portraying red robes and spirituality, but instead showing their more personal thoughts and troubles. We were invited into their homes, met and interviewed their families and are able to show nuns of all ages with their respective lifestyles and how they cope with the modern 21st century world.
The film is due to come out next year, the trailer was made available on Youtube today. Please watch!
