Greetings,
Due to a fortuitious change in circumstances, Ben is able to perform again in his original capacity as Global Moderator.
Sorry if it feels a little like musical chairs at the moment! Despite shuffles over the past few months I'm confident we've got a very good mod/admin team, with a good cross-section of skills, experience and perspectives.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

Good!

The thoughts I've expressed in the above post are carefully considered and offered in good faith.
And friendliness towards the world is happiness for him who is forbearing with living beings. -- Ud. 2:1
To his own ruin the fool gains knowledge, for it cleaves his head and destroys his innate goodness. -- Dhp 72

Thanks everyone.
In case you're wondering what's been going on...
Sometime ago I stepped down from global mod role because I believed the internet service where I was to be living and working, most of the time, would make moderating extremely difficult to impossible. As it turned out, the connection, except for when bad weather plays havoc with the satellite connection, was better than my "premium" service at home. And so that's why I never really went away.
Its good to be back in the role of global mod. As some of you know, service is an important part of my practice and being able to serve the online Sangha is something that I value greatly.
Thanks for having me back!

Nice

Suffering is asking from life what it can never give you.
