Links in Posts

Post by Fede »

I have found that if somebody posts a link as part of a post, and you click on it, it is vital you don't close the link down by clicking on the X-button (white x on red) in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
This will also close the whole "Dhamma Wheel" website down, and you'll have to come back in.
To come out of the link, hit the back-arrow, top left of your screen.

Greetings Fede,

We're currently looking at a way to pop the links into a new window.

In the meantime, you can be careful not to close the window as you have explained, or alternatively when opening a link, instead of clicking the left-mouse button, click the right mouse button and select "Open link in new window".

Metta,
Retro. :)

Yes, I agree, but I have found occasionally that you when you then go to close THAT window, you get a box asking, "Close all tabs?" and if you click 'no' the window stays open, if you click 'yes' - pop! Everything goes!

It's no big earth-moving shakes...!
It's only a compooter, after all.....! ;)

Greetings,

We never got around to actually announcing this, but this feature is now fixed. Links will open in a new window.
