Greetings and Namasakarn

Post by SeerObserver »

:anjali:
Greetings, all. Namasakarn to the ordained.

I knew this forum was new, but I had no idea just how new.

The last forum I joined has an introduction section as well, but I did not become aware of it till I was already well on my way, so to speak. It wasn't really a point of mine to come and do the intro this time around either. But I decided to especially since this one, being on a forum that is still new and destined to prosper, feels like more of a landmark.

I'm glad to see all the familiars whose posts I've enjoyed and benefited from, as well as the users new to me whose posts I look forward to enjoying and benefiting from.

I rejoice the continued growth of the forum and will contribute to further it.

Be well, my friends in Dhamma.

:hello:

Perhaps we've met you before on another forum? Do you go by any other usernames elsewhere?

HI
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

I have the same username on E-Sangha as well, although I'm relatively new there (2 months) as well compared to a lot of you.

Some of you I have made exchanges with, and I am looking forward to those with whom I have not.

Greetings SeerObserver,

OK, that makes sense then. That's just about how long it's been since I've no longer had the time to remain too active back there. Anyway, welcome, and I look forward to your participation in discussions.
