I didn't really know James, but having lost family members and Dharma friends, I understand how some of you may be feeling. Sending metta....
Wishing: In gladness and in safety,
May all beings be at ease.

I should probably check on announcements more often.
This is terrible news.
I wish him peace and metta from this life into the next.

Wah, I am speechless.
Had no idea this had occurred. Silly that I happened to visit a forum I'd not been on in months to hear this news.
I met James a few times. He was an extremely warm and genuine person, and he loved the Dhamma. Doubtless he has a few positive rebirths in store.
Best wishes to James' family and all.

Unquestionably, he was one of the good guys. He is, indeed, missed.
What is the use of his knowledge

Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

I am thankful for his practice and thankful to Eknow him. May he and his loved ones be well.

Birthdays are great days, they are always her to remember the gift we have been given by an other person.
I didn't knew him, but here are a lot of people who like to celebrate: JCSuperstar
So party for JCSuperstar where ever he may be around actually!
Just that! *smile*
...We Buddhists must find the courage to leave our temples and enter the temples of human experience, temples that are filled with suffering. If we listen to Buddha, Christ, or Gandhi, we can do nothing else. The refugee camps, the prisons, the ghettos, and the battlefields will become our temples. We have so much work to do. ... Better a human realm in a Dhamma practicing family.
