Hi everyone
You may have noticed that over the last few days we've been whacked by an onslaught of spammers or spam-bots - perhaps its the famed Leonid-spambot shower!
I just want to extend a word of appreciation for those of you who have taken the time to issue a report, or send a pm to us. My mod and admin colleagues and I do have responsibilities outside of Dhamma Wheel and we can't always provide a continuous presence and oversight of all activities through out our discussion forum. We greatly appreciate it when members do those small things that assist us to keep Dhamma Wheel a great place to discuss the Dhamma and commune with like-minded Dhamma friends.
Its your presence and contributions that a largely responsible for making Dhamma Wheel the great place that it is.
Thanks for your efforts!
kind regards
Ben

And big thanks to you, too. But are you sure you don't want to take this opportunity to buy a Philippine Island?
This low price will not last!

And that Gucci bag...
Bhikkhus, if you develop and make much this one thing,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.
What is it? It is recollecting the Enlightened One.
If this single thing is recollected and made much,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.Anguttara-Nikaya: Ekanipata: Ekadhammapali: PañhamavaggaWBB TBHT HBM AC My Page

Thanks Dmytro... I'll bring it to David's attention.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

Thank you Dmytro for your kind recommendations.
I would have responded earlier except I've been flat-out at work!
kind regards
