Asalha Puja

Post by Khalil Bodhi »

Dhamma Brothers and Sisters,

Happy Asalha Puja Day! Today is traditionally taken to be the date of the Lord Buddha's first discourse. I hope you don't mind me sharing what I find to be the most inspiring rendition thereof here: http://www.pirith.org/download/Dhammachakka.mp3. May we all reap great benefit! Sukhitaa hontu!

Full Moon Uposatha

It's been some time since I posted the uposatha day but, if no one minds, I'd like to start again on a regular basis. Saturday will be the New Moon Uposatha.
Here is a link to our FB group http://www.facebook.com/events/158963420870657/ and I also stumbled across a video by Bhante Yuttadhammo here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZO6NbI9 ... detailpage" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Everyone,

The 24th is the last uposatha day of the year. This may be a tough one for those of us in traditional Christian families since it is Christmas' Eve. May we all obtain great fruit and benefit from our practice this uposatha and in 2012! Metta! :heart: :group:
