What does it mean?
Re: Longuest pali compound word
Was this actually in a text?
I'm sure you could artificially cook up some enormous compounds if you wanted to, but those are less fun than "wild" ones.
Either way, I like it.

In the Book of Eights in that link and also in the Threes: http://www.dhammawiki.com/index.php?tit ... %28Pali%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;cooran wrote: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... gle.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Unfortunately, I don't have access to my PTS English translation (in boxes right now) so can't look it up by the passage number to see what it means.

I think it is a part of the 7th precept: "dancing, singing, music, watching shows, wearing garlands, beautifying myself with perfumes and cosmetics".

Good job. I didn't notice it, since there are no hyphens in that long word!wiemingang wrote:I think it is a part of the 7th precept: "dancing, singing, music, watching shows, wearing garlands, beautifying myself with perfumes and cosmetics".
