Hi everyone!
I am one in the "noble search" from Madrid (Spain). I have practised meditation for two years and a half now, and I have studied mainly Theravada Buddhism, more specifically Ajahn Chah and his disciples, Thanissaro Bhikkhu, and the Sutta Pitaka.
I usually write in this Spanish forum (http://www.bosquetheravada.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), but I wished to contribute to an English-written forum, so I could practise my English and, of course, learn more about the Dhamma, and meet new dhamma-buddies!
Metta to you all
Pablo

Greetings and welcome, Pablo!
Lovely to see you here.
Best wishes for your English practice (which already sounds perfectly fine)
Metta,
Retro.

Hi
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.
He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
To celebrate it, I'm gonna sit for a while. See you afterwards!
