metta visualize

Postby befriend » Thu Sep 01, 2011 7:07 pm

hello,
i know when practicing metta, the practitioner can visualize the person they are wishing well for. is there also another way to hold the person your wishing well for in your mind. can you just say the persons name? like may tim be happy. thank you, metta, Befriend
when walking say to yourself "i am walking" when riding in a car say to yourself "i am sitting in a seat riding in a car" make sure to be concious of the statement, use your intelligence to simply comprehend it and in my experience this is the best way to be mindful in daily life.

Of course. I would say just try out what works best for you.
