Seemed like an appropriate place to say hello to one and all and thanks for creating this wonderful venue. I'm potty trained now, so I promise not to post in the Theravada areas. :)

I have no idea, but in any case Shoey lives in the same city as my mother, so I can always send her round to his place if he needs instruction in the correct use of a potty. :smile:

will make a few enquiries to see if Alan still has the group sittings as would be interested if their still going.
havent sat with them in some years tho met Alan a few years ago when i was doing some photographic work for the council in the nottingham caves, which he was also involved in.He had just returned from Japan.
I was studying Rinzai in London at the time but often sat with the group, which helped dispel notions of "differences" in traditions.
i was introduced through them to some lovely Thai Forest monks visiting notts. :smile:
this was over 20 years ago - sheeesh.temper fugit.
