Metta,

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra Panyapatipo

Well done, Bhante!
...he wondered whether there was any love between human beings that did not rest upon some sort of self-delusion.

with best homage to you,
Awareness(mental noting) alone is not enough for real enlightenment. (Ashin Tejaniya)
Created truths(Sammuti Sacca) are just to be used only, experienced only and known only but .....they are not for noting, believing, confirming, centering and thinking as reality and real importance.
Vipassana (Insight meditation) is just the abandoning the mind-action of centering, grasping, confirming, and attaching the created truths as reality and as of real importance.

I particularly liked the copyright notice :-)

Even so, whatever is well-spoken,
All of it is the word of the blessed one,
The arahant, the perfectly and completely awakened one.
Wholly derived from that is what we and others say.

Can some one point the source of the Text, the page quotes (A.4.164) for the Verse. I am not sure what that means.

I seldom like the Bible-like quoting of verses.
