Post by cooran »

Hello all,

I've just bought The Dukan Diet book.

Anyone on it or tried it?

If so, what did you think?

Greetings Cooran,

I had not heard of it until you mentioned it.

What is the nature of the diet?

Metta,
Retro. :)

Hello Retro,

I’m only going on it short term – maybe for a month. It gives the fastest weight loss for that period.

This is a link which gives an overview:

Greetings Cooran,

I don't understand the science behind it, but I hope it works for you! May it support your well-being and fitness.

This Wikipedia page makes it sound like a low carb diet similar to the South Beach diet: Harsh like Atkins in the beginning, with some complex carbs later on
In reading the scriptures, there are two kinds of mistakes:
One mistake is to cling to the literal text and miss the inner principles.
The second mistake is to recognize the principles but not apply them to your own mind, so that you waste time and just make them into causes of entanglement.
