Dear all,
In the Anguttara Nikaya->Book of 4>77(Acinteyya Sutta)
Buddha stated there are 4 kinds of things could not be think of, which 4?
1.Buddha's attainment,
2.Jhanas
3.Action & result,
4.The world
I am more interested the kammavipaka(action and result) could not be analyzed or think of, more reading on the commentaries for the sutta:
Kammavipākoti diṭṭhadhammavedanīyādīnaṃ kammānaṃ vipāko.
Can anyone help to clarify more on this sentences?
Why Kammavipaka could not be think of?
Re: Why Kammavipaka could not be think of?
now there is seeing (vipaka) and a visible object.
Do you know the kamma that caused this particular vipaka to arise at exactly this time?
Probably not as that is the domain on Buddhas.

Re: Why Kammavipaka could not be think of?
Could be because it is speculative, inviting too much specualtion?
The translation appears to be:
"The [precise working out of the] results of kamma...
(from Thanissaro Bhikkhu, translation)
