I give books

Post by Adrien »

Hi everyone,

I have decided to give some books (that I don't use). Some of them are available for free in monasteries, but it could interest people that don't have a chance to go in such places. About the shipping :
- I will pay all of it if you live in France
- I will only pay the first 5€, and if it's not enough, you can pay me the rest after you received the book(s) (you can use paypal or send me a check)
- I will be in Cittaviveka (Chithurst Buddhist Monastery, England) from the 24th June 2011 until the 25th July 2011. So if you think we'll meet there, let me know and I will give you the book(s) in proper hands.

If you read french, you can also check out the french books I give, here (there is only 2 books left, but I will put some more later).

If you're interested by one or several books, please send me a pm with your postal adress.

Here is the list (I put my name first, so if someone wants to give some books too, he will only have to copy and paste my list in his message, and add his proper list. And so on...) :

Available Adrien :
- Practical Insight Meditation (Mahasi Sayadaw)
- 3 booklets by Mahasi Sayadaw (Thoughts on the Dhamma, The Progress of Insight, Satipatthana Vipassana : Insight throught Mindfulness)
- The buddha and his teachings (Narada)
- What Buddhists Believe (Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda)
- You & your problems (Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda)
- After the Ecstasy, the Laundry (Jack Kornfield)
- The Manuals of Dhamma (Ledi Sayadaw)
- The Manuals of Buddhism (Ledi Sayadaw)
- Venerable Acariya Mun Bhuridatta Thera : A Spiritual Biography (Acariya Maha Boowa)
- Relatives and Disciples of the Buddha

Nice initiative :)

Why do you only stay two days at cittaviveka? Would seem to be a wonderful place to stay longer.

If it's been collected, it will appear in your "Sent" folder.

If it's yet to be collected, it will appear in your "Outbox".

Metta,

Hi,
I also give books, so if you are interested, send me an MP.
Unexpected Freedom Ajahn Munindo
Rude Awakenings Part 1 and 2 Ajahn Sucitto and Nick Scott
Seeing the way Volum 2 Monks and Nuns from Theravada Forest Sangha
Bodhinyana Ajahn Chah
and in French Le livre tibetain de la vie et de la mort Sogyal Rinpoché

I will ask you to send me stamps or money for the postage, don't know exactly how much it can cost, it depents of the book.
I live in Dover, Kent currently, so if you live in this area, I can give them directly.

Feel free to ask me if you have any questions.
