Looking for practical books for everyday life
Looking for practical books for everyday life
I have a small collection of buddhist books already but I would like to find a few more books that treat the use of buddhism in every day life, in everyday problems. With concrete everyday examples about how to relate to life's difficulties in a buddhistic way. Does anyone know such books? Please let me know! Thank you in advance.

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Dr. Thynn-Thynn's book called Living Meditation, Living Insight is a wonderful book on how to bring the practice into daily life:

One exceptionally good one.
I read it a lot, as a self-nudging exercise!

Perhaps this is more abstract than what you are looking for: The Buddha's Teachings on Prosperity: At Home, At Work, In the World, by Bhikkhu Rahula.yuri74 wrote:I have a small collection of buddhist books already but I would like to find a few more books that treat the use of buddhism in every day life, in everyday problems. In fact, most of buddhist books are intended to teach how to abandon the mental defilement which are the root of all bad effects.yuri74 wrote:I have a small collection of buddhist books already but I would like to find a few more books that treat the use of buddhism in every day life, in everyday problems. This below link is my collection of buddhist ebooks which is mainly concerned about the right understanding/ contemplation of how to abandon the mental defilement in the right way which is practical and useful in easiness of daily life. The e-books are written by me, based on the teaching of Sayadaw U Ottamasara from Than-lyin meditation center, Yangon, Burma.
