Hi,
I am at the beginning of learning some Pali.
At the moment I am trying to read/ understand the Dhammapada in Pali, does anyone know where I can find a recitation recording of it on the internet (in Pali)? My aim is to learn the pronunciation.

I can upload a clear but slow recording, done by one monk. Good for pronunciation.
but I can't upload till 20th october, when I get to a computer with a better data plan.

Perhaps:

http://aimwell.org/assets/Pali.zip" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I haven't tried them out yet, just found them on a search.

A link to Venerable Nauyane Ariyadhamma Maha Swaminwahanse chanting Dhammapada in Pali on this page:

Another great resource is an email list that I'm subscribed to that sends out a short dhamma verse every day with pali text, english translation, and audio, often uses dhammapada as it's source. I highly recommend it, it's a great learning tool.

http://www.ancient-buddhist-texts.net/A ... -index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Full Dhammapada text recited by Bhikkhu Anandajoti. Good pronunciation but not much style.
There is a full version recited by Bhante Uparatana, very beautiful, in Sri Lankan slow wavery style. I don't have it any longer, but it is definitely in the library at the Bhavana Society or you can write to Bhante Uparatana at the International Buddhist Center, 2600 Elmont St Silver Spring MD 20902
Selected verses from the Dhammapada sung by Visarad Srima Ratnayaka, at http://www.buddhanet.net/audio-chant.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This is really perfect pronunciation and lovely to listen to, although her tune is not so easy for a non-musician to emulate. I use this one in teaching pali pronunciation.

Thank you for all the great resources. They are a real pleasure to listen to and a very good pronunciation exercising material.
