Hi all...
I have just joined this forum having had a dreadful experience at the hands of eSangha. Banned for merely asking a question about the Dalai Lama - not an inflammatory one I hasten to add. :cookoo:
I hope this forum will give me the opportunity to exercise some religious freedom and help me with my practice.

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel BBreath!

Re: Tentative Hello...
Hi
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.
He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.
John Stuart Mill

Yep that was me! I am too new here to get into trouble so I wont bore you with the details but suffice to say I have a record of the farce that has ended up with me being well and truly bound and gagged - despite what others can see on there about my status; I cannot read my PM's, nor replies to posts I have made/subscribed to.Welcome here.

I was having (what I thought) was a private discussion with one of the moderators via PM's and as she clearly didn't like my questions suspended me. I'd understand if I had kicked off but it was only a question for goodness sake
Anyway, it got uncomfortable and was not what I expected from a 'Buddhist' forum so I am happy to have nothing more to do with them. All in all quite a sinister experience really, left my skin crawling a little!
ps. Just to put anyone reading this minds at rest I am NOT in the habit of creating problems at all...I don't think we have enough time for all that nonesense. So thanks for the welcomes and here's to a long and fruitful membership
