i reckon the Mogok Sayadaw method looks very interesting...

I'm going to Burma on January and i'm looking for a meditation retreat and I think I would like to do a retreat on Mogok's meditation "tradition".
Do you know if is possible to do in English? in this case is it possible just to pop up in the place and start the retreat? (as in so many places in Thailand...); is it possible to do 10 days retreat? (the classical 28days is a bit too much for me ), is the adress that one in the beginning of this post?

thank you so much
Maybe if you contact the London Mogok Vipassana Centre they can answer your questions:

All the world is on fire, All the world is burning, All the world is ablaze, All the world is quaking. That which does not quake or blaze, That to which worldlings do not resort, Where there is no place for Mara:That is where my mind delights. (SN 5.7)

from moment to moment,
the wise purify themselves,
as a smith purifies silver.

Hello,

Pleasantly surprised to find out the discussions regarding Mogok Sayadaw in this community.

For me, most valuable 'insight' related to my view on (circle of rebirths)/"samsara" was gained from the teachings of Mogok Sayadaw. Here is what I realize [personally, and very subjectively, of course _ you have been warned :-) ]: --> the "Potential" beginning of "my" SAMSARA is the VEDANA at the present moment. This VEDANA will dependently originate (create / initiate) TANHA if (a very important 'if') un-accompanied by "mindful awareness", resulting in "rebirth" of "specific" dhamma (natural) processes. I am very glad to learn the circle of "micro" rebirths of "specific" dhamma processes and to be introduced to the knowledge/technique on how to break it.

Here are some links, book, and some audio in English related to Mogok Sayadaw (just a very tiny portion of many hundreds of audio recordings in Burmese over a period of mid 1950s to early 1960s):
