The Great Buddhist Stories: Omnibus http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/9812618945 - Ven Dhammika compiled and edited these stories. Excellent work but a little sophisticated for younger kids (Ages 4 and up)

Buddha at Bedtime: Tales of Love and Wisdom for You to Read with Your Child to Enchant, Enlighten and Inspire http://www.amazon.com/dp/1844836231/?tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=2547533369&ref=pd_sl_72df6qp6ub_e - Written by someone practicing in the FWBO/Triratna Sangha; all in all good book with pretty illustrations and good for younger kids (3 and Up)

Buddha http://www.amazon.com/Buddha-Demi/dp/0805042032/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325787283&sr=8-1 - Demi - Beautiful illustrations but with a Mahayana flavor. Good for young ones. (Ages 3 and Up)
