Hello,
Ive been studying Buddhism for a while now and really enjoying it.
the reason for the note is that i want to get a tattoo in Buddhism and in Pali or Sanskrit?
I really want to get something along the lines of 'live life' 'live for the now' - just some examples
Does anyone have any script that comes to mind? any help would be very much appreciated.
warm regards
David.

Greetings Pack,
Whilst not exactly what you're talking about, the word 'sati' means mindfulness, and implies a pre-conceptual mindful awareness of the current moment.
It is also devoid of the "live for the moment and damn the consequences" type of thinking that your other draft quotation might infer, which is most certainly not Buddhist in its meaning.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

There is no "official" Pali script as it is written in several different language scripts, including Roman letters in modern times.
Some of the first writings in Pali were in the Brahmi script, such as those from Ashoka's edicts / pillars.
Instead of a Pali term, you might consider a Dhamma Wheel.

Hello genkaku,
As this is the Pali forum, I think you meant to write:
"How about yāmabherināda or yāmakāhala."
