Just ordered a copy. I already have the PTS version and refer to it and study it frequently. By far the best Nikaya, in my opinion. The last of the four primary Nikayas to be translated by Bhikkhu Bodhi, he has saved the best for last.
Last? And what about Digha?

Maurice Walshe translated the Digha.
What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

Woops, I'm sorry for my false information, I still have to read that nikaya.

There are some suttas from Digha by Bodhi (like Mahanidana) - and in my opinion they are better than Walshe's.

This offering maybe right, or wrong, but it is one, the other, both, or neither!

Correct, as you and Tilt noted Maurice Walshe translated the Digha for Wisdom Publications. They all have that nice looking "Teachings of the Buddha" series design on all of the updated translations that I thought for a moment that Bhikkhu Bodhi translated that one too.

That similar cover design and perhaps that I don't refer back to it as much as the other Nikayas, that I forgot who translated it.

Anyone know if a Kindle version will be available in September? All those footnotes make the electronic version nice to have.

A friend of mine just got this reply from Wisdom regarding the Kindle version...
Ebook version of Anguttara Nikaya will probably be available in November/December.
I'm tempted to start a letter writing campaign to encourage them to make the cross references in the notes and all citations hyper linked.

I see bookdepository.co.uk have an extra 10% discount this week, I wonder if it will work against the pre-order of the Anguttara.
Which others of Ven. Bodhi's book(s) would anyone recommend as a first or essential purchase?

If you've not yet got the Majjhima & Samyutta Nikaya, they're worth getting.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

Hello everyone,
I decided I couldn't wait another 3 months so I purchased the 1933 Pali Text Society Gradual Sayings F.L. Woodward and E.M. Hare translation.
So far most of the suttas I like most are already on
Access to Insight or Nyanaponika Thera's anthologies (Parts
I,
II &
III) so I'm advising people to wait the few more months for Bhikkhu Bodhi's translation.
I'd like to use Bhikkhu Bodhi's Thematic Guide from the NDB Digital Preview pdf but the PTS version has a different chapter numbering system. Does anyone have a link regarding converting one to the other?
Thanks / dhammapal.

Access to Insight has the PTS version at the link to the Pali version of the text. For example:
AN 1.21-40: Ekadhamma Suttas — A Single Thing {A i 5; I,iii,1-10; I,iv,1-10} [Thanissaro].
I believe the A i 5 refers to PTS AN volume 1, page 5. But you can only see the conversion for the texts they have online, not all suttas.

Since this question seemed a little off topic, I started a new thread to answer it as well as a place for people who want to go through Bhante's study guide.
