Hello all,

I discovered or should I say, let go of my ignorance, opened my mind and looked into Buddhism about 6 months ago and I am so happy for this. Only last week I formalised my following of the path by taking the five precpets at my local monastery. I began a drastic life transformation last year, which is continuing but in a calmer and settled way now...thanks to Buddhism, as I now know the reasons for my dissatisfaction. Anjali to the Buddha. :anjali:

Greetings Eamonn,

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.

Metta,
Retro. :)
If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra Panyapatipo

Hi Eamonn and welcome to Dhamma Wheel!
