I was very curious as to wether or not there were Bikkhus/Monks on the forum. I really love the whole system. And I look at them as a christian does his Priest. A spiritual guide, one who spends his whole life learning and practicing the Dhamma. And I have been browsing alot of the users here, and have noticed some have real life pictures of them in the robes of Monks. So are there?
Ommmmmmmmm.

Greetings,
Yes, there are some real life bhikkhus and bhikkhunis who are members here.
The most active ones at this point in time are Bhikkhu Pesala and ven. Nyanasuci, though venerables Appicchato, Dhammanando, Gavesako and others drop by on occasion.
Bhikkhu Samahita also shares a Dhamma message every day here -

Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)
