My site "Dhamma-biblioteket" ("The Dhamma Library") with my translations from the Pali texts (and some Sanskrit texts) into Norwegian, is moving to a new web site:

http://dhamma.priv.no/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The old site will remain open for a while, before it is closed.

This old forum closed a year and a half ago. Old posts can be read, but no new posting.

We have a new forum well under way:

http://buddha-dharma.info/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good resources in Portuguese?

Post by Buddhistboy »

I came across this website. Its Brazilian but I am not sure whether it actually contains resources. Would someone please try and see.

'Buddhistboy' is my username, even though I want to make it perfectly clear that I am not a boy. I am an adult.

Resources in various languages on the Berzin Archives pages: http://www.berzinarchives.com/web/ar/index.html.
The intro says "primarily on the Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions of Tibetan Buddhism," but if you want Arabic, Punjabi or Mongolian :o dharma you will probably be grateful for whatever's there.

None of the above, actually :embarassed: but when I come across links like these I trust the sources enough to pass them on.
Most Aussies are monolingual, which is okay at home but makes us look kinda limited when we go to Europe and find so many people are fluent in two languages and can get along in a couple more. Me? My English is excellent :tongue: and I can understand a fair bit of French and Italian if it's written down or the people speak reeaallly slowly. As for speaking them myself, I can buy food and drink ...
