Just watched the film last night and really loved it. I am curious why you choose the monastery you did instead of returning to wat pah nanachat? The reason I ask is because I am interested in ordaining and am trying to decided where to go.
May you be happy. May you be a peace. May you be free from suffering.

Hello Moth,
Hello Moth,
Main reason is Tan Ajahn Anan who is the abbot of Wat Marp Jan. I had faith in him as a teacher. WPN and WMJ are both branch monasteries of Wat Non Pah Pong in the tradition of Luang Por Chah.Moth wrote:Just watched the film last night and really loved it. It is great that you are doing well. It must be uplifting to see the start of two monasteriesThanavuddho wrote:Ytrog wrote:Just watched it a second time.

It is also difficult, I am telling you... living in mud and noise and whatnot... and having evening chantings in a soaking wet tent.Ytrog wrote: It is great that you are doing well. It must be uplifting to see the start of two monasteries
But generally I have been fortunate enough to have place to escape the hassle of building.
