Rupa = form or shape?

Post by Spiny O'Norman »

The usual translation for rupa is "form", but I would like to get a deeper understanding, particularly in the context of the 5 aggregates. Does rupa mean how things appear? Or does it mean all "physical" phenomena? And how does it relate to the 5 elements.
Thanks in anticipation.
