Hello:
Just found this forum and I am looking forward to being a contributing member.
I am on holiday in Bangkok (have been here for almost 3 weeks). I flew here from Baghdad, Iraq where I work but Texas is home.
I have been interested in Buddhism for many years but my holiday here and meeting some phenomenal people has deepened my desire to know more about and practice the belief.
Today I went to a meditation class and received so much peace and knowledge and it has only whetted my desire to learn more.
Thank you for allowing me to share your place and hope to learn more from the knowledgeable individuals that call this home.
Peace and Love
Dennie

Welcome Dennie!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Welcome Dennie!
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
