General discussion of issues related to Theravada Meditation, e.g. meditation postures, developing a regular sitting practice, skillfully relating to difficulties and hindrances, etc.

Hi,
My name is Terence and I am new to meditation and to Buddhism, and was interested in finding a site that teaches online meditation or has really good and relaxing guided meditation videos. Do you know of any such site? What you even use it, if it existed? I want to find an online community of mediators. Should I build it? I really want it.

http://yuttadhammo.sirimangalo.org/The Venerable Yuttadhammo's website/community is a good start.
Gain and loss, status and disgrace,
censure and praise, pleasure and pain:
these conditions among human beings are inconstant,
impermanent, subject to change.
Knowing this, the wise person, mindful,
ponders these changing conditions.
Desirable things don’t charm the mind,
undesirable ones bring no resistance.
His welcoming and rebelling are scattered,
gone to their end,
do not exist.
