I always regarded Moon as a "karmic" payback to the West for the Western/Christian missionizing in the East. Well, Moon is dead. I won't miss him, though I do recall a very odd full page newspaper ad he took out once about relationships or some such thing and how when two people are really meant for each other they can tolerate the smell of each others' farts; however, he used far more euphemistic language. Now, that is a true Messiah.

I do definitely remember reading the New Testament and thinking, "You know, this would be better with more fart jokes."

Like I said, there was a weird enclave of Moonies around my home town and they were quite obnoxious, even in matters unrelated to their religious beliefs. It was like a social club for really maladjusted white professor-types.

Oh lord, my son works at burger king as a 17-year-old p/t burger flipper.
As for Moon - gone to hang out with Rajneesh, no doubt.
One only hopes for Moon and his followers he didn't die from a fart attack.
It wouldn't be good for the Messianic aura.
