Through many of samsara’s births I hasten seeking, finding not the builder of this house - pain is birth again, again. O builder of this house you’re seen, you shall not build a house again, all your beams have given away, rafters of the ridge decayed, mind to the unconditioned gone, exhaustion of craving has it reached.(Dhp - 153, 154)

Greetings,

I've been listening to the new Pet Shop Boys album, Elysium, of which these are my two favourite tracks...

Metta,
Retro. :)
If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

It's lost the endearing post-apocalyptic feel of JA's version in favour of generic early-70s US rock.

Sorry, Retro, I am with Ben on this. I loved this song and the whole album. Here is another songs from the album.

I'm no music expert, but this is truly beautiful. A vynil version of this went up to $6000 on ebay. It lasts 5 hours and if the 5 hours are as beautiful as the first 30 min, this is a true masterpiece.

And the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Behold now, bhikkhus, I exhort you: All compounded things are subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!"

By any means necessary!
I used to listen to this band when I was a teenager and they still make these ridiculous "everything is burning, exploding and our long hair is flying in the wind" music videos! They're really good for a good laugh but I think they try to be pretty serious! :D
