Dhamma: Idea or Ideology?

Nice Video Bhante.
I think it is all about context, I don't think it can always be translated into one word or phrase, and I do think some words may at times be a, or give a wrong impression in the wrong context.
I suppose if Ideology was used to translate dhamma, it would have to be in specific circumstances due to the negative conotations due to the use of the word with certain policical systems which have been used or described in a negative manner, and with the wide group of ideas it can be applied to.

Idea as an alternative I think gives just as many problems, although different ones from, Is Dhamma an idea of truth, the teaching of an idea of what is true, an expression of truth in a certain way to make it palitable and easily understood? or all of these? none of these? or both? I think a cart may be useful in deciding!

Dhamma to me is Dhamma, an idea of what is and an ideology of finding out what is, then an idea of how best to share it.
