Bhikkhus, if you develop and make much this one thing,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.
What is it? It is recollecting the Enlightened One.
If this single thing is recollected and made much,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.

I don't suppose that's because no one can afford decent agricultural chemicals?
- just a thought!

No, more like "lipstick on a pig"! (ie: talking up a negative as a positive (spin))

All in good fun of course.
If Bhutan can become the world's first totally organically grown-crop producing country -well and good!

Sorry, Bhutan lost already. There was a time when all nations had only home grown food, and every bit of it was 100% organic.

Yes, back in the day before wide-screen television, car bras and Paris Hilton.

Car bras??!

I feel like I'm in a cultural backwater compared to you guys in Nova Hollandia. A simple account or a link will do, but only if it doesn't upset me.

Flat screen TVs and Paris Hilton I am OK with...

Just done the sensible thing and Googled it, Ben.

I had to peep out from between my fingers, but it all seems quite tame.

Don't know how I ever managed without one, though.
