I answer by my guess:

I think IPA may make a word that refer to Īsaṃphuṭṭha.

Īsaṃphuṭṭha mean "a little bit tongues touching on their base".

It is a skill to pronounce sanskrit--saṅvuta, vivaṭṭa, phuttha, and īsaṃphuṭṭha.

Pali just has only phuttha, and īsaṃphuṭṭha (saddanītisuttamālā).

3. phuttha= Stop.
