Very good stuff; I live in a college town and the amount of wishy-washy Romantic Buddhism that I come in contact with really tests my loving-kindness :)
Gain and loss, status and disgrace,
censure and praise, pleasure and pain:
these conditions among human beings are inconstant,
impermanent, subject to change.

Knowing this, the wise person, mindful,
ponders these changing conditions.
Desirable things don’t charm the mind,
undesirable ones bring no resistance.

His welcoming and rebelling are scattered,
gone to their end,
do not exist.
- Lokavipatti Sutta

Stuff I write about things.

Thanks for the interview. Here's a previous thread:
http://www.dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6859" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
that includes a link to one of Thanissaro Bhikkhu's talks.

And another article:

Thanks Mikenz66 for providing a link to the previous submission. Looks like there are a good number of comments that I will have to read through there.
