An open and inclusive investigation into Buddhism and spiritual cultivation
by littlepieceofcalm » Thu Nov 01, 2012 10:57 am
Hi everybody, my name is Tina Ng and I am a practicing Buddhist based in Sydney.I have started a writing experiment, in which I write about my thoughts and experiences of the Buddha's teachings, but without making any direct reference to Buddhism. I have done this because I hope to reach out to a secular audience, and also I found when I used to write about Buddhism, I would simply 'hide' behind Buddhist jargon and Pali phrases. So I invite you all to my humble website, and any comments/ feedback you may have for me can be left on the site.

Hi Tina,
I have just checked it out, and I like it a lot. In fact, I have saved it as a favourite. I will be interested to see how far you can go without bringing Buddhist terminology into things. I wish you good fortune with it.

Thanks for your support Sam. I hope to keep the conversation going between readers and myself, so let me know if you have any suggested topics or feedback on any of my writings.
My latest offering is this: "Surround yourself with people who make you want to be a better person". Whole article here -
