Yo

Postby Jack Charles » Thu Nov 22, 2012 7:51 am

What's up people, I have been reading off this site for a couple days and finally have decided to become part of it. I hate technology sometimes but being able to have access to such a wealth of knowledge is truly a gift I think. I am from central Wisconsin and there isn't anywhere to discuss Buddhism in my area, at least not that I have found. And none of my friends are really into Buddhism or know enough about the teachings to discuss them, not that I am an expert. All I have been doing up until now is just listening to talks on the Internet and reading books. But I feel to help deepen my understanding of some things it would help to grapple with theese ideas with others, and to ask and answer questions, and to investigate with others what is REALLY going on here hahaha. Anyways I am glad to be here and am glad that here is here.

Welcome Jack! Happy Thanksgiving!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.
