Hi guys!

Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.

Hi guys!

Postby Javi » Thu Nov 22, 2012 5:49 pm

Greetings from Miami! Joined the board because all my google searches kept leading back this website and found myself reading many highly informative threads. Currently reading In the Buddha's words by Bodhi and loving it, also listening to his course on the MN. Looking forward to many future dhamma discussions!

Welcome Javi! In the Buddha's words by Bhikkhu Bodhi is my current book, too! It's one of the books that is recommend here regulary, so you're in good company! As for the courses on the MN - I heard it's good to listen to those while studying the translation of the MN (which will probably be my next big book :D)

Best wishes,

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)

Welcome.

What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us
