Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.

Hello everyone!

Im a 25 year old Norwegian, currently studying in the UK (something that has presented a few challenges which I will post about in a seperate thread).
I used to practice mediation on its own when I was in my teens as it had a very calming effect in some turbulent times in my life, but the last few years I have also gotten a lot more into the Buddhist side of things, and so far (even though I am still a beginner) the Dhamma has brought much peace and compassion into my life. I look forward to learn and maybe contribute some if I can on this board with you all

With metta,
Alex

Welcome aboard!

Greetings Alex,
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)
