"She wanted to LIVE" R.I.P. "Braveheart"

Post by Annapurna »

Please light a candle for the young woman who was gang-raped and DESTROYED by 6 men, injuring her so badly, that despite of her will and wish to survive and help bring them to justice, her body gave up-- :weep:

Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

Thank you so much guys.

Dear all, you showed so much compassion for the fired, hot dentist assistant, now, this is here is so much worse, and there are so few replies. Very strange. Why is that?

I hope you will sign the petition Marie posted!

god.help.

am so heartbrocken.

i couldn't get her out of my mind, ended up crying last night in bed..i tried to close my eyes but all i got was painful images.

I kept the eight precepts, listen to the dhamma all day, meditated and dedicate my merits for her and sent her metta.Who knows she might have been a departed relative in a not too distant life.

my poor child.my god.i wish she never had to go through that.god.i wish no woman had to go through that.god.help us. :candle:

That's right..please don't ignore this subject.

I know you can relate more to helping a 19 year old guy solve his sexual urges,(apparently it's so important it's affecting his studies..oh noo..what should we doo  ..he better wank his way up to better grades)thank you for suggesting he get a girlfriend for this Very purpose, not because it's based on love, trust and mutual understanding. But because Girls are just objects you get when you feel horny right..it reminds me of that ghost Buster Movie..when your horny Who you Gonna Call??.grr.

and of course don't forget to watch porn and keep sex wholesome.Because that's exactly what you need to keep sex wholesome..porn. :|

So please excuse how annoyed i am at the moment.something about men not being able to control their sexual urges that really gets to me..especially when i hear about a rape case let alone something as bad as what happened to this poor woman".Just wished people were more sensitive that there are female members on this site that may be a bit offended with some comments (or Lack of comments).

okay then, i'm sorry i didn't sound as Diplomatic as Annapurna. But it would mean a lot to Annapurna and me if you signed the petition.

Now if you'll excuse me,i'm going to sit in the corner and calm the f*** down.

Tragic as this death is - India (and others) has a much larger problem - Gendercide.
‘’It’s a girl’’ Kill her!’

‘Amartya Sen, the Nobel Prize winning economist said in 1990, that more than 100 million women are missing. ‘In India, China and some other countries in the world , girls are killed, aborted & abandoned because they are girls. The United Nations estimates as many as 200 million girls are missing in the world today because of gendercide. 50 million missing campaign fighting gendercide in India. Gendercide is war on women.

Amithabh Bachchan Pays Poetic Tribute to Gang-Rape Victim

"With the passage of time, the candles shall burn out and lose their flame...

The flowers offered with devotion, shall in the absence of water, get dry and weathered out...

The voices of protest both vocal and silent, shall lose their strength...

But the 'fearless' ( nirbhayata ) fire that has been ignited, shall rekindle the flames in our hearts...

The waterless dry and weathered flowers, shall be brought to life drenched by the tears in our eyes...

With a burning throat the soul of 'Damini' and 'Amaanat', shall be voiced in the entire universe...

That I am the Mother, sister and daughter of my Bharat...

Respect and dignity are my birthright possessions ..

Bharat the country is my Mother...

Forget about me, become at least the recognised worthy face of your Mother..!!"

BRAVO; YANA,

very true, I felt like this as well, and MY SPECIAL THANKS GO TO THE MEN WHO ALREADY REPLIED HERE, this was very considerate of you, you are truly kind!

Perhaps the others of you, who can't relate to rape as well yet, for some reason, could also sit down for a while and try to imagine, what she went through, and develop some compassion for her. And sign the petition, please.

It doesn't matter that it happened in India. What we do for the women there, by signing the petition, will eventually affect all of us, who are your sisters, your daughters, your mothers, and your partners, -and if only on a message board.

You know that we are not just cleavages and sexy bodies to distract men from root channels.

So please, thank you so much for signing, your efforts are appreaciated.

Should we perhaps repost this topic in other topics, that received more attention, so far?

What do you think, guys...?

Who will post where?

It would be lovely if one of you guys would help.

Thanks,

Anna ♥

Thank you, all, Kusala, this is very touching and Cooran, this reality is truly sad...no words...

Here is an update...I keep thinking her path is a lightful path, like the path of a Bodhisattva, who changes the world with a personal sacrifice...I wonder if you know what I am trying to say...?
