i have studied buddhism since i was a boy....

it has helped me overcome some very heavy trials in my life....

meditation is my refuge....

a monk asked buddha....

what is the safest place in the world...

buddha replied....

when you are meditating you are safe....

meditation is the safest place to be...

Oh the Buddha said that? Reference please?
Bhikkhus, if you develop and make much this one thing,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.
What is it? It is recollecting the Enlightened One.
If this single thing is recollected and made much,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.

Hi Paul and welcome to Dhamma Wheel!
...he wondered whether there was any love between human beings that did not rest upon some sort of self-delusion.

Cool name, are you actually Paul Lennon, or is that a mix of Paul McCartney and John Lennon?
Welcome to DW!
Then,
saturated with joy,
