Ajahn Chah audio talks

Postby jackson » Sun Feb 17, 2013 5:31 am

Hi everyone,
I recently stumbled upon Ajahn Amaro's readings of all of Ajahn Chah's talks which have been translated into english and thought some of you might be interested. Ajahn Amaro does a wonderful job of bringing the translations to life and I think I may actually prefer listening to them over reading them. Anyway, they can be found here: and also on iTunes, just search "Ajahn Chah Amaravati" and look under podcasts.
Best wishes, :anjali:

To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know and let go.

I often prefer listening to reading. And it's also nice to listen to Ajahn Chah himself. There are a number of talks here with translation:

Hi, thanks for responding. I imagine you two have probably already seen this, but for anyone interested in seeing video of Ajahn Chah I highly recommend checking out this Youtube footage.

Also Ajahn Amaro's readings of Ajahn Chah's teachings are on Youtube as well, just search Ajahn Chah and they should come up.

Yes, that's true. I imagine in those talks where someone is translating he probably uses standard Thai, rather than Isaan...
