Hello everyone
Hello everyone
My name is Patton Hpone Myint Tu. I hail from Burma, and am sixteen years old. My dedication to Buddhism came when I was fourteen (before that I was not too serious about it). I have always wanted to meet others who, like myself, are deeply interested in this religion - and now I have! Pleased to make your acquaintance.

Gain and loss, status and disgrace,
censure and praise, pleasure and pain:
these conditions among human beings are inconstant,
impermanent, subject to change.
Knowing this, the wise person, mindful,
ponders these changing conditions.
Desirable things don’t charm the mind,
undesirable ones bring no resistance.
His welcoming and rebelling are scattered,
gone to their end,
do not exist.
