Hello everyone

Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.

Hello everyone

Postby Patton Tu » Mon Feb 25, 2013 12:22 pm

My name is Patton Hpone Myint Tu. I hail from Burma, and am sixteen years old. My dedication to Buddhism came when I was fourteen (before that I was not too serious about it). I have always wanted to meet others who, like myself, are deeply interested in this religion - and now I have! Pleased to make your acquaintance. :hello:
The Buddha is the guide, the Dhamma is the path, the Sangha is the example.

Min ga la ba? Nei kaun la? :hello:
Bhikkhus, if you develop and make much this one thing,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.
What is it? It is recollecting the Enlightened One.
If this single thing is recollected and made much,
it invariably leads to weariness, cessation, appeasement, realization and extinction.

Welcome friend! I hope you enjoy the forum.
Gain and loss, status and disgrace,
censure and praise, pleasure and pain:
these conditions among human beings are inconstant,
impermanent, subject to change.

Knowing this, the wise person, mindful,
ponders these changing conditions.
Desirable things don’t charm the mind,
undesirable ones bring no resistance.

His welcoming and rebelling are scattered,
gone to their end,
do not exist.

Welcome.

What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

Greetings,

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.

Metta,
Retro. :)
If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)
